Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brant Nichols took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Craigmyle's zone, Brant Nichols stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ned Fontaine came out of the goal and Brant Nichols tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Craigmyle got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cole. Brant Nichols struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ned Fontaine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swanson. 18 minutes into the game, Juan Cole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Craigmyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swanson the free kick. Juan Cole hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ned Fontaine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monte Denton in the 19th minute. The supporters of Swanson booed when Craigmyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Murray didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Elias Kuhn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Craigmyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swanson the free kick. The supporters of Swanson booed when Craigmyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Cole didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Merle Reyna made the kick off in the second half. Swanson's Man Holland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Swanson from getting a goal against them. Merle Reyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Merle Reyna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Man Holland. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Merle Reyna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Craigmyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Merle Reyna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Man Holland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Merle Reyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merle Reyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Man Holland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ned Fontaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Nichols, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Man Holland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merle Reyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Swanson's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Léonard Morales fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Craigmyle's Juan Cole got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merle Reyna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Man Holland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 88 minutes into the match, Craigmyle's Léonard Morales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Man Holland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hosea McCall shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Merle Reyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Craigmyle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Swanson throughout the match.
