The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octavio Cantu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leland Trejo made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Torrance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chadwick Melanson to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Zachary Christensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tracy Bélanger. Torrance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Christensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torrance walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
