Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chadwick Hooper kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Sneed in the 3rd minute of play forced Connaught's goalkeeper Phillip Bradshaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chadwick Hooper, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ramiro Aguirre was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ramiro Aguirre came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Connaught's Chadwick Hooper. But to his dismay, Chadwick Hooper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Renard Dumas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Aguirre having to interfere. Ramiro Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chadwick Hooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, Connaught was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renard Dumas to maneuver through the defense. When Perry Sneed came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pictou AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Sneed couldn't finish the play. Perry Sneed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Phillip Bradshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corey Nesbitt struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Phillip Bradshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pictou AFC. Perry Sneed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Bradshaw having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Connaught's goalkeeper Phillip Bradshaw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corey Nesbitt. Phillip Bradshaw came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pictou AFC's Corey Nesbitt. But to his dismay, Corey Nesbitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perry Sneed to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pictou AFC's Ramiro Aguirre got control of the ball when Renard Dumas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Pictou AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chadwick Hooper came free, but Ramiro Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perry Sneed succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 59 minutes into the game, Agustin Velazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pictou AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Connaught the free kick. After 63 played minutes Pictou AFC got a freekick which was hit by Perry Sneed. Connaught's Chadwick Hooper got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quentin Akers kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes, Pictou AFC's Damon Croteau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phillip Bradshaw came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pictou AFC reached it. In the 70th minute, Damon Croteau sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw didn't even have to move. Corey Nesbitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Bradshaw having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Connaught's goalkeeper Phillip Bradshaw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Connaught defense, Perry Sneed kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phillip Bradshaw. The Connaught fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phillip Bradshaw should have stopped the shot. Agustin Velazquez got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Renard Dumas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renard Dumas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ramiro Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Renard Dumas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ramiro Aguirre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiro Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chadwick Hooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Pictou AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
