Raptors Soccer's Sang Coleman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merle Reyna in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Juan Cole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Craigmyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raptors Soccer the free kick. After 27 played minutes Craigmyle got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loren Sears during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Raptors Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loren Sears to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Christian Tharp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ned Fontaine was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Merle Reyna came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Craigmyle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merle Reyna couldn't finish the play. With splendid footwork Merle Reyna arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. Craigmyle's Léonard Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Léonard Moraless short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Sang Coleman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

After some careless play in the Raptors Soccer defense, Léonard Morales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sang Coleman. The Raptors Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sang Coleman should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merle Reyna in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Coleman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Craigmyle's Léonard Morales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sang Coleman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merle Reyna in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Coleman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Merle Reyna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raptors Soccer's Fredric Finney got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Léonard Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benny Block's late challenge caught a Craigmyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Block helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Benny Block hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Craigmyle's Léonard Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Léonard Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Ray Murray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sang Coleman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Craigmyle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
