Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Burgess made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Chadwick Hooper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Connaught's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chadwick Hooper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Langelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadwick Hooper in the 10th minute of the match. The corner led Connaught's Nigel Wynn to fire away a dangerous shot which André Langelier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Renard Dumass short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got André Langelier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renard Dumas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. André Langelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Chadwick Hooper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Langelier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glencoe IFC's André Langelier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chadwick Hooper in the 20th minute of play. Chadwick Hooper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Langelier having to interfere. Renard Dumas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th of the match, Chadwick Hooper tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but André Langelier got in the way and made a wonderful save. Renard Dumas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Langelier having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Chadwick Hooper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chadwick Hooper made a kick off. André Langelier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chadwick Hooper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Connaught from getting a goal against them. André Langelier came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Connaught's Renard Dumas. But to his dismay, Renard Dumas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chadwick Hooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. André Langelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chadwick Hooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chadwick Hooper in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Langelier saved Glencoe IFC from getting behind. André Langelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Chadwick Hooper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. André Langelier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Connaught players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
