The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. I love Britney!'s Perry Cousteau managed to work through Real Polish Superstars's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Perry Cousteau dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 9th minute, Gérard Spears fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brendon Starkey, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Perry Cousteau managed to get in a good position for a shot. I love Britney!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Cousteau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendon Starkey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, I love Britney! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolphe Vaughan to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, I love Britney!'s goal looked a bit too open when Isiah Lacombe came free, but Eloy Monroe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolphe Vaughan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brendon Starkey came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolphe Vaughan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Gérard Spears fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Starkey having to interfere. If Isiah Lacombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perry Cousteau was the one to do the kick off. Brendon Starkey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gérard Spears in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Polish Superstars's Geoffroi Parmentier got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gérard Spears managed to get in a good position for a shot. I love Britney!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gérard Spears was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendon Starkey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I love Britney!. Isiah Lacombe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Monroe having to make a save. If Isiah Lacombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Real Polish Superstars's goal looked a bit too open when Gérard Spears came free, but Brendon Starkey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gérard Spears fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Starkey having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Perry Cousteau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon Starkey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendon Starkey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Pickens, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Geoffroi Parmentier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, Geoffroi Parmentier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Perry Cousteau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Brendon Starkey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. I love Britney! had played much better football throughout.
