Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamey Martin started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basil Bolton got free with Neville McNeal in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Canadian Devils's zone, Jamey Martin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neville McNeal came out of the goal and Jamey Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Todd Nelson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Whitney Wagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Canadian Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Jamey Martin came free, but Neville McNeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basil Bolton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Sydney Armstrong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joffre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canadian Devils the free kick. The supporters of Canadian Devils booed when Joffre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Armstrong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todd Nelson scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Whitney Wagner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Canadian Devils booed when Joffre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Armstrong didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jamey Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joffre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamey Martin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neville McNeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canadian Devils reached it. Sal Hay's late challenge caught a Canadian Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sal Hay helped the player get up and apologised. Sal Hay kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Joffre FC's Whitney Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirby Carlson in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Jamey Martin made a precise shot to the right of Neville McNeal. Canadian Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kirby Carlson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Neville McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamey Martin in the 59th minute of play. Kirby Carlson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Whitney Wagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Basil Bolton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neville McNeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canadian Devils's Neville McNeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamey Martin in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Todd Nelson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basil Bolton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Neville McNeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamey Martin in the 78th minute of play forced Canadian Devils's goalkeeper Neville McNeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basil Bolton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neville McNeal having to interfere. If Basil Bolton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamey Martin in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville McNeal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jamey Martin got free in front of the goal in the 93rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Neville McNeal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Joffre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jared Barnett to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Joffre FC's zone, Kirby Carlson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Whitney Wagner came out of the goal and Kirby Carlson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joffre FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Canadian Devils to leave the ground with a draw.
