Jean McLean came out of the goal and Jamey Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jamey Martin fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joffre FC's protests and gave Jamey Martin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Joffre FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jamey Martin hit a great ball. Anthony Randolph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Whitney Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Grandpré in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Jamey Martin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anthony Randolph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Wagner having to interfere. Jamey Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basil Bolton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jean McLean made a huge save. Joffre FC's Whitney Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Grandpré in the 89th minute of play. Whitney Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Randolph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean McLean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamey Martin in the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamey Martin in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean McLean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Joffre FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Trois-Rivières throughout the match.
