A collision led to Edgar FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dion Flaherty hit a great ball. When Donn Vertefeuille fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edgar FC's protests and gave Donn Vertefeuille a yellow card for diving instead. Donn Vertefeuille kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Robin Neal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dirk Pina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Emery Stokes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Pina. Dirk Pina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Stokes having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Edgar FC's Simon Hines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emery Stokes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn Vertefeuille in the 51st minute of play forced Aicy AFC's goalkeeper Emery Stokes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aicy AFC's Emery Stokes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Huff in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Edgar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donn Vertefeuille to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Dudley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Chu having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Renard Wilson rounded Edgar FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Emery Stokes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Simon Hines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Hines in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emery Stokes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lance Huff kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dirk Pina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emery Stokes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Pina in the 97th minute of play. Emery Stokes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Pina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Edgar FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
