When Eugene Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sprucedale's protests and gave Eugene Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Sprucedale got a freekick which was hit by Eugene Mendez. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Wade Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sprucedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Wade Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hassan Talon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hassan Talon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 范桑适, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sprucedale booed when St.Mary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Cherry didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Damion Whitfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Porter Nava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Talon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Wade Coyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hassan Talon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raphaël Lunsford charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphaël Lunsford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raphaël Lunsford hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Joyner got free with Vladan Kovačević in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 范桑适 in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hassan Talon saved St.Mary from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in St.Mary's zone, Wade Coyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassan Talon came out of the goal and Wade Coyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, 范桑适 made a precise shot to the right of Hassan Talon. St.Mary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 范桑适 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hassan Talon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hassan Talon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wade Coyle's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Hassan Talon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范桑适 in the 44th minute of play. Willard Escobedo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Hassan Talon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sprucedale.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 范桑适 made a kick off. 范桑适 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If 范桑适 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. St.Mary's Hassan Talon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porter Nava in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes St.Mary got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cherry. 64 minutes into the game, 范桑适 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hassan Talon. 范桑适 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Sprucedale's Wade Coyle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hassan Talon. That made the score 0-7 after 66 minutes of play. Hassan Talon came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sprucedale's Wade Coyle. But to his dismay, Wade Coyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Damion Whitfield's late challenge caught a Sprucedale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damion Whitfield helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes St.Mary got a freekick which was hit by Damion Whitfield. If 范桑适 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Wade Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, St.Mary's goal looked a bit too open when 范桑适 came free, but Hassan Talon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugene Mendez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 85th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 范桑适 in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hassan Talon saved St.Mary from getting behind. St.Mary's Hassan Talon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范桑适 in the 91st minute of play. Hassan Talon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porter Nava in the 94th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Hassan Talon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sprucedale's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
