Lynn Clavet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hassan Talon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The Club Atletico Totogol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carrol Granger should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a little luck, St.Mary's Hassan Talon got control of the ball when Pierre Gosselin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lynn Clavet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Talon having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Frédéric Mullins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Totogol and the St.Mary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shane Milton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Carrol Granger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Milton in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atletico Totogol's goalkeeper Carrol Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Thibault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Hassan Talon made a huge save. Club Atletico Totogol were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after St.Mary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Étienne Vega took the corner. In the 88th match minute, St.Mary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Joyner to maneuver through the defense. Carrol Granger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isreal Leblanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Lynn Clavet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Totogol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The St.Mary fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Totogol were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
