After 18 played minutes, Que The Tides's Cletus Charette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hassan Talon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Que The Tides reached it. Brooks Murray might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hassan Talon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brooks Murray ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 played minutes St.Mary got a freekick which was hit by Eldridge Dorsey. After 25 minutes of play, Que The Tides's Brooks Murray made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hassan Talon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 28 minutes, Scot Desforges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Que The Tides's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scot Desforges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Tommie Deblois was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Que The Tides's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St.Mary the free kick. 29 minutes into the game, one of Que The Tides:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hassan Talon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Que The Tides's Les Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Milton in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Que The Tides's Scot Desforges dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The St.Mary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Que The Tides's performance. The match ended with a win for Que The Tides.
