Brady Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Chaney in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cedrick Dykes helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Football Masters a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matt Hull, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yankees's Brady Lester. 0-3. When Trinidad Lejeune fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Football Masters's protests and gave Trinidad Lejeune a yellow card for diving instead. Trinidad Lejeune hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gerard Petit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Elliot having to interfere. Football Masters's Christoper Lovell was responsible for 0-4 with a brilliant performance in the 86th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Brady Lester. If Trinidad Lejeune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brady Lester made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Trinidad Lejeune sent off a good shot on target. Nick Chaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute Nick Chaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brady Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Football Masters's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
