Lincoln Fritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Cortes in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Cope in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevor Hess saved Laval Kings from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Lincoln Fritz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erick Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Trevor Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathan Cope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Johnathan Cope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trevor Hess was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Laval Kings getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Darin Allred hit a great ball. Napoleonas's Izydor Kaczucha got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephan Parsons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Trevor Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lincoln Fritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grégoire Duran in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Johnathan Cope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trevor Hess was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Cortes was the one to do the kick off. In the 73rd minute, Logan McKinnon made a precise shot to the right of Lincoln Fritz. Napoleonas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Johnathan Cope who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laval Kings's Trevor Hess was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Cope in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trevor Hess prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grégoire Duran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laval Kings's Trevor Hess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Cope in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match Johnathan Cope climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Trevor Hess. The Laval Kings support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
