The supporters of mapleleaf booed when TDOT FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earnest Beaver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, TDOT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Slaughter to maneuver through the defense. When Javier McNeill came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the mapleleaf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier McNeill couldn't finish the play. Silas Gay's late challenge caught a TDOT FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier McNeill made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier McNeill in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alphonso Askew saved TDOT FC from getting behind. A collision led to TDOT FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Amédée Vick hit a great ball. Wes Clement hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Javier McNeill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonso Askew having to interfere. If Earnest Beaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, TDOT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brady Griggs came free, but Alphonso Askew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dexter Stanton placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Alphonso Askew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brady Griggs in the 87th minute of the match. Earnest Beaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frances Riquet might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Justice. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frances Riquet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute of the match, Earnest Beaver tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gonzalo Justice saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. mapleleaf's Gonzalo Justice proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save mapleleaf from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, mapleleaf's Gonzalo Justice got control of the ball when Frances Riquet tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over TDOT FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than mapleleaf throughout the match.
