After 11 played minutes Napoleonas got a freekick which was hit by Absolon Ball. Napoleonas's Erick Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Santo Grier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Johnathan Cope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoleonas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Cope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Picton AFC's zone, Erick Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod Overton came out of the goal and Erick Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnathan Cope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jerrod Overton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Picton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Parsons came free, but Jerrod Overton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathan Cope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Overton having to interfere. Johnathan Cope's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Jerrod Overton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Grier to make the kick off. Leonel Léveillé charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Léveillé the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Napoleonas booed when Picton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Léveillé didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Cope in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrod Overton saved Picton AFC from getting behind. Felton Fitzpatrick's late challenge caught a Napoleonas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felton Fitzpatrick helped the player get up and apologised. Felton Fitzpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Warner Lamoureux charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Warner Lamoureux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Picton AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Napoleonas:s goal. Jerrod Overton went to the wrong direction when Izydor Kaczucha was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The Napoleonas fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Napoleonas's Johnathan Cope looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 67 minutes into the match, Picton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Parsons came free, but Jerrod Overton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoine Scott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerrod Overton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Cope in the 72nd minute of play. Leonel Léveillé hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jerrod Overton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Cope, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Johnathan Cope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrod Overton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Erick Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Johnathan Cope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerrod Overton was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Virgil Youngblood hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Erick Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Picton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Cope came free, but Jerrod Overton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Napoleonas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
