A collision led to NDG United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Olivier Dykes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeffry Lane in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Khan saved NDG United from getting behind. Tracey Bertrand hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Édouard Lunsford's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Dan Khan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to cemelin getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jarrett McNamara hit a great ball. Clark Goss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Séverin Thorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes NDG United got a freekick which was hit by Chet Shapiro. If Séverin Thorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Jeffry Lane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. cemelin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeffry Lane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Séverin Thorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Parker Green was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. cemelin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDG United the free kick. After a rather tough play, cemelin's Parker Green got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Séverin Thorne to make the kick off. In the 86th match minute, NDG United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Hughes to maneuver through the defense. Édouard Lunsford spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of NDG United's goal.
