With a little luck, mapleleaf's Gonzalo Justice got control of the ball when Édouard Lunsford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzalo Justice showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffry Lane in the 11th minute of the match. Jeffry Lane struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gonzalo Justice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for cemelin. After 15 played minutes mapleleaf got a freekick which was hit by Clyde Holbrook. If Jeffry Lane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffry Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Justice having to interfere. Édouard Lunsford struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gonzalo Justice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for cemelin. Waylon Palacios charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waylon Palacios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clark Goss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier McNeill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of mapleleaf booed when cemelin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennett Manley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier McNeill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Goss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Clark Goss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brady Griggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes, cemelin's Jarrett McNamara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonzalo Justice came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in cemelin reached it. Brady Griggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brady Griggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Goss having to interfere. Tracey Bertrand kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Danny Petit missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Clark Goss right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier McNeill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Édouard Lunsford came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the cemelin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Édouard Lunsford couldn't finish the play. Jeffry Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gonzalo Justice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Taylor Seals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When cemelin's Jeffry Lane in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye mapleleaf's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, mapleleaf's Javier McNeill dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Brady Griggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 minutes of play mapleleaf's Waylon Palacios was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Waylon Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Jeffry Lane came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the cemelin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffry Lane couldn't finish the play. In the 79th match minute, cemelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chase Melvin to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind mapleleaf's goalkeeper Gonzalo Justice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, cemelin's Clark Goss got control of the ball when Brady Griggs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Édouard Lunsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
