Spectators: 7159 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Javier McNeill took the kick off in the first half of the match. Javier McNeill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renard Stovall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier McNeill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Javier McNeill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renard Stovall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Javier McNeill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mississauga Mavericks's Renard Stovall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Osvaldo Querry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Justice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Osvaldo Querry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Osvaldo Querry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mississauga Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Querry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Justice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Querry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Justice having to interfere. If Brady Griggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Justice came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mississauga Mavericks's Osvaldo Querry. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Querry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toussaint Buchanan to make the kick off. Renard Stovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier McNeill in the 52nd minute of play. Renard Stovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Clement in the 55th minute of play. mapleleaf's Gonzalo Justice proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save mapleleaf from getting a goal against them. After 60 played minutes mapleleaf got a freekick which was hit by Wes Clement. mapleleaf's Gonzalo Justice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toussaint Buchanan in the 61st minute of play. If Osvaldo Querry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Querry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Gonzalo Justice when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Brady Griggs came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the mapleleaf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brady Griggs couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Rich Elkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mapleleaf and the Mississauga Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Rich Elkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toussaint Buchanan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Justice having to interfere. Renard Stovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Griggs in the 78th minute of play. Taylor Seals's late challenge caught a Mississauga Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taylor Seals helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to mapleleaf getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Taylor Seals hit a great ball. Gonzalo Justice made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Querry in the 88th minute. Renard Stovall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier McNeill's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Brady Griggs struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Renard Stovall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for mapleleaf. mapleleaf's Taylor Seals suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Geraldo Pack hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
