Spectators: 8056 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Didier Carey started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Zack Swan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wembley the free kick. Didier Carey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lanny Hicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos FC's Gervais Cotton was substituted for Guadalupe Holliday. Damien Hays showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleo Smart, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jody Rodrigue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Rogers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Lanny Hicks skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Cleo Smart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleo Smart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Cleo Smart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damien Hays. Wembley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleo Smart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Gervais Cotton came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervais Cotton couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Trevor LaGarde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cleo Smart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cleo Smart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Hays having to interfere. If Gervais Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Kurt Link hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jody Rodrigue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damien Hays stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleo Smart's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Jody Rodrigue charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jody Rodrigue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jody Rodrigue kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor LaGarde in the 54th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Lanny Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien Hays made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cleo Smart sent off a good shot on target. Santos FC's Gervais Cotton got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cleo Smart came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleo Smart couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Wembley getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonah Casey hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Cleo Smart made a precise shot to the right of Damien Hays. Wembley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Santos FC's Lanny Hicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Carey in the 71st minute of play. If Gervais Cotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eldridge Beausoleil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lanny Hicks. Santos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jody Rodrigue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervais Cotton. 80 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Jody Rodrigue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damien Hays narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kenneth Hart hit a great ball. Cleo Smart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Hays having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Wembley's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gervais Cotton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Santos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wembley.
