Normand Barber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Sheldrake getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tomas Deslauriers hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sheldrake's zone, Osvaldo Marcus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Normand Barber came out of the goal and Osvaldo Marcus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Normand Barber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Marcus in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Leonel Xiong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bert Riquier hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Normand Barber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Marcus in the 74th minute of play. If Osvaldo Marcus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Hagersville's Osvaldo Marcus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
