Hagersville's Jeffery Kinney got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Chevrette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffery Kinney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hagersville booed when Toronto Belediyespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dee Forbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toronto Belediyespor's Manuel Chevrette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Marcus in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Hagersville got a corner. Toronto Belediyespor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Riley Dostie ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Riley Dostie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Chevrette quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Toronto Belediyespor's Manuel Chevrette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Marcus in the 29th minute of play. Manuel Chevrette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Marcus in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Marcus made the kick off in the second half. Vern Chouinard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baudouin Davenport in the 52nd minute of the match. Baudouin Davenport's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vern Chouinard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Jeffery Kinney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Manuel Chevrette made a huge save. Hagersville's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Riley Dostie in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Riley Dostie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Toronto Belediyespor's Manuel Chevrette did a great save. If Valentine Houle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentine Houle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vern Chouinard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Emerson Déziel charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Déziel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Jeffery Kinney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
