Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Richards got free with Darryl Means in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sam Richards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mean Green Machine's Darryl Means played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Medley in the 13th minute of play. Kelvin Summers hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Auguste Palmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chas Presley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darryl Means showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernon Medley, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Chas Presley came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Mean Green Machine's Mack Woody. But to his dismay, Mack Woody quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Darryl Means was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Vernon Medley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vernon Medley really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Atherley AFC's Vernon Medley in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Darryl Means guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Chas Presley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Richards could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Darryl Means however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brant Givens during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Atherley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brant Givens. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vernon Medley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mack Woody's late challenge caught a Atherley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mack Woody helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Mean Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Mack Woody. If Vernon Medley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mack Woody was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Mean Green Machine's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Atherley AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Brant Givens hit a great ball. Mack Woody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Chas Presley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atherley AFC defense, Antoine Rivard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chas Presley. The Atherley AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chas Presley should have stopped the shot. Vernon Medley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vernon Medley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Darryl Means tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Mean Green Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Medley came free, but Darryl Means reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoine Rivard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sam Richards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Atherley AFC's Vernon Medley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darryl Means narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vernon Medley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Vernon Medley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Means saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Mean Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Williams Mothé. 91 minutes into the match, Sam Richards notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mean Green Machine's Darryl Means. Darryl Means was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
