When Fabien Grove fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orangeville SC's protests and gave Fabien Grove a yellow card for diving instead. Fabien Grove hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Ricky Longpré fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mean Green Machine's protests and gave Ricky Longpré a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mean Green Machine's Ricky Longpré got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mean Green Machine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chi Lilly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fabien Grove got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 23 played minutes Orangeville SC got a freekick which was hit by Fabien Grove. Antoine Rivard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 25th playminute. Antoine Rivard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gino Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Antoine Rivard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Fontaine was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mack Woody made a kick off. Mack Woody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
