Cordoba City's Arturo Sands couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bobbie Woodruff firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rémi Gousse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barthélémy Aguilera in the 19th minute of play forced Cordoba City's goalkeeper Hugo Talon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léon Beauchamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bobbie Woodruff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léon Beauchamp ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Léon Beauchamp took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bobbie Woodruff to make any attempt to save it. Gaétan Echeverri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hugo Talon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noah Ham kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Gaétan Echeverri got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hugo Talon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Real Vancouver Club's Barthélémy Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Benedict Hyatt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Vancouver Club and the Cordoba City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedict Hyatt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaétan Echeverri was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Barthélémy Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Vancouver Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barthélémy Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cordoba City's Ernesto Judd got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute Rémi Gousse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobbie Woodruff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Barthélémy Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Vancouver Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barthélémy Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cordoba City's Hugo Talon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaétan Echeverri in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Cordoba City's goal looked a bit too open when Gaétan Echeverri came free, but Hugo Talon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cordoba City getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Octavio McCord hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Barthélémy Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Vancouver Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Barthélémy Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Talon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Sandoval, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Barthélémy Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cordoba City's Ty Ward got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cordoba City's Léon Beauchamp got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cordoba City booed when Real Vancouver Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Benedict Hyatt rounded Cordoba City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barthélémy Aguilera got free with Hugo Talon in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Vancouver Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
