Bryce Person showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mack Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Antoine Rivard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Rivard got free with Bryce Person in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, Brain Alford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mean Green Machine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osnaburgh FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes Mean Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Brain Alford. In the 21st match minute, Mean Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain Alford to maneuver through the defense. If Emmitt Witt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brain Alford hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Curt Dickerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Means having to interfere. Ricky Longpré hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Darryl Means showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Dickerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mean Green Machine's Antoine Rivard got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emmitt Witt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Mean Green Machine got a corner. Osnaburgh FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Auguste Palmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Auguste Palmer made a great header on Mean Green Machine's corner, it was just that Osnaburgh FC's Bryce Person managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Curt Dickerson to strike the kick off in the second half. Bryce Person took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Thurman Hardin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osnaburgh FC and the Mean Green Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Thurman Hardin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curt Dickerson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Darryl Means skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Osnaburgh FC's goalkeeper Bryce Person, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Mean Green Machine's Antoine Rivard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryce Person narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antoine Rivard scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryce Person, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ricky Longpré managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Green Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Longpré was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryce Person breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antoine Rivard struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Emmitt Witt charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmitt Witt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricky Longpré kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Mean Green Machine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
