Spectators: 8020 (Terracing: 6017, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaétan Echeverri kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Real Vancouver Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Longpré came free, but Bobbie Woodruff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mean Green Machine's Brain Alford got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Gaétan Echeverri rounded Mean Green Machine's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Williams Mothé hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ismael Sandoval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Means read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Real Vancouver Club's Barthélémy Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mean Green Machine's Darryl Means got control of the ball when Barthélémy Aguilera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mack Woody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobbie Woodruff having to interfere. Bobbie Woodruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Rivard in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Antoine Rivard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Antoine Rivard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobbie Woodruff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobbie Woodruff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mack Woody in the 34th minute of the match. Antoine Rivard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bobbie Woodruff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mack Woody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Vancouver Club's Bobbie Woodruff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mack Woody in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Mean Green Machine's Mack Woody nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bobbie Woodruff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benedict Hyatt hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mack Woody to make the kick off. Bobbie Woodruff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mack Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bobbie Woodruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Woody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barthélémy Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Means stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaétan Echeverri's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Darryl Means didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaétan Echeverri went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 66 minutes, Barthélémy Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Vancouver Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barthélémy Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darryl Means made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaétan Echeverri in the 67th minute of play. Bobbie Woodruff was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Auguste Palmer. Mack Woody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobbie Woodruff having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Rivard got free with Bobbie Woodruff in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Douglass Jeffers kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Antoine Rivard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaétan Echeverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Means having to interfere. Darryl Means showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barthélémy Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Real Vancouver Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
