Spectators: 8027 (Terracing: 6022, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) Gavin Dutton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Los Ñandues's zone, Gavin Dutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignace Norwood came out of the goal and Gavin Dutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignace Norwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Stratton, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Victor Stratton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Church in the 14th minute of play forced FC Lepanto 71's goalkeeper Noe Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Gavin Dutton made a precise shot to the right of Ignace Norwood. C.A. Los Ñandues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Raymundo Belisle came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Lepanto 71 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Belisle couldn't finish the play. FC Lepanto 71's Gavin Dutton got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noe Wolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Church in the 31st minute of play. Noe Wolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curtis Siegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lepanto 71's goalkeeper Noe Wolf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Victor Stratton managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lepanto 71's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Stratton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignace Norwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Siegel in the 49th minute of play forced FC Lepanto 71's goalkeeper Noe Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Curtis Siegel made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilaire North during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes C.A. Los Ñandues got a freekick which was hit by Hilaire North. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavin Dutton in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignace Norwood saved C.A. Los Ñandues from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Curtis Siegel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noe Wolf, 1-1. Noe Wolf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Willard in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A. Los Ñandues booed when FC Lepanto 71 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Faure didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Los Ñandues's Ignace Norwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Cousteau in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes, FC Lepanto 71's Tommie Painter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ignace Norwood came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lepanto 71 reached it. If Emmanuel Cousteau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gavin Dutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Norwood having to interfere. Elijah Hopper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignace Norwood. C.A. Los Ñandues's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
