Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omer Avila took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hobert Cliche in the 3rd minute of play. Lewis Duran struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Julian McAllister didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griswold. Maurice Torrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Crenshaw in the 5th minute of the match. Maurice Torrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Steele, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Omer Avila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Julian McAllister when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Trois-Rivières FC's Leonel Steele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurice Torrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Omer Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omer Avila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian McAllister having to interfere. Maurice Torrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Crenshaw in the 22nd minute of play. If Antoine McCoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carson Pina hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Maurice Torrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Steele in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jed Vincent kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian McAllister. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Omer Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Griswold's Leo Desaulniers got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Trey Logan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trois-Rivières FC's protests and gave Trey Logan a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Trois-Rivières FC got a freekick which was hit by Trey Logan. Omer Avila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Steele to make the kick off. If Daniel Crenshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis Duran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Leo Desaulniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Omer Avila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Griswold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omer Avila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trois-Rivières FC's Daniel Crenshaw got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubin Ambrose got free with Maurice Torrez in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute Leonel Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Torrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Leo Desaulniers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian McAllister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 played minutes Trois-Rivières FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubin Ambrose.
