Team Name's Adam Dodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dustin Oneill in the 3rd minute of play. Teddy Metz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfred McLean having to interfere. Winfred McLean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Mock in the 13th minute of play. Teddy Metz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Dodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Oneill, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Gonzalo Laird, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adam Dodge was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Teddy Metz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Name fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Gerard Mock fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Name's protests and gave Gerard Mock a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Team Name getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gerard Mock hit a great ball. Fabian Denton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Dodge. Team Name's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Metz in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winfred McLean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 minutes, Normand Barry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edun and the Team Name players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Edun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normand Barry to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teddy Metz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Metz in the 52nd minute of play forced Edun's goalkeeper Winfred McLean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Team Name got a corner. Edun's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grégoire Dugan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Teddy Metz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Name's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Metz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winfred McLean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Laird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adam Dodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Grant during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Rory Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Team Name got a freekick which was hit by Clément Cannon. Edun's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 73rd minute of the game, when Fabian Denton after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Team Name's goal. Fabian Denton was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Team Name's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Laird came free, but Adam Dodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Régis Blanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Name's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Blanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes, Gaspard Stubbs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Name and the Edun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaspard Stubbs hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
