Gregorio Childers charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Childers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Kenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Childers to maneuver through the defense. If Jame Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas McLain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Carrier having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Kenora got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Childers. Hong Sexton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Lacharité, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Edmund Zimmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guy Carrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Zimmerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Josue Howe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rogers the free kick. After 43 played minutes Kenora got a freekick which was hit by Josue Howe.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Lacharité was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Joseph Lacharité reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hong Sexton. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 64th minute Edmund Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Carrier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Nicholas McLain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Carrier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Joseph Lacharité fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hong Sexton having to interfere. In the 85th minute Edmund Zimmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Carrier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas McLain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Carrier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Nicholas McLain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Carrier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas McLain in the 91st minute of play forced Kenora's goalkeeper Guy Carrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicholas McLain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kenora had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
