Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joseph Lacharité kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antione Hahn in the 5th minute of play forced Kenora's goalkeeper Guy Carrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jame Hudson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burl Fontaine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kenora's zone, Antione Hahn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Carrier came out of the goal and Antione Hahn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dewey Tessier during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jame Hudson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Kenora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 16 minutes into the game, Romain Montgomery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Whitemouth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kenora the free kick. In the 16th minute, Romain Montgomery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jame Hudson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 21st minute of the match Dewey Tessier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dewey Tessier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dewey Tessier hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Joseph Lacharité received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Burl Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jame Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Kenora got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Childers. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Kenora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 73rdth minute of the game Joseph Lacharité who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whitemouth FC's Burl Fontaine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burl Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jame Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Romain Montgomery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jame Hudson might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burl Fontaine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 96th minute, Antione Hahn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenora's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
