Spectators: 6345 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaétan Mathis started the match with the kick off. When Guoan's Gaétan Mathis in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cupar's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Guoan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Glen Barbour hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Queen in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rex Harden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Cupar's goal looked a bit too open when Gaétan Mathis came free, but Peter Chaussée reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Queen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rex Harden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Guoan's goal looked a bit too open when Humbert Temple came free, but Rex Harden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Cupar's goalkeeper Peter Chaussée had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carroll Mooney. The Cupar fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Cupar's Percy Stafford looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Claudio Queen came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cupar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Queen couldn't finish the play. Guoan's Rex Harden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Stafford in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Zapata during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cupar getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adam Zapata hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Queen to make the kick off. Peter Chaussée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaétan Mathis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cupar's Claudio Queen got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Glen Barbour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percy Stafford struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rex Harden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cupar. After 63 minutes, Duncan Hogan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cupar and the Guoan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Duncan Hogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rex Harden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humbert Temple in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percy Stafford got free with Rex Harden in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Carroll Mooney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guoan's supporters rose to their feet, but Carroll Mooney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Chaussée breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Queen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rex Harden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Percy Stafford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rex Harden made a huge save. Cupar's Claudio Queen got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaétan Mathis in the 82nd minute of play forced Cupar's goalkeeper Peter Chaussée to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Queen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Harden having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guoan! The referee gave Cupar a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zack Jefferson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guoan's Rex Harden. 0-2. After having played for 95 minutes, Percy Stafford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cupar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Stafford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percy Stafford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Guoan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cupar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
