Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Ashley Ivey put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ambroise Brunelle. 16 minutes into the game, Ashley Ivey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newport Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beardmore FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Newport Park got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Ivey. Beardmore FC's Ambroise Brunelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Sexton in the 17th minute of play. Gregory Akins scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Biggs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ambroise Brunelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Sexton in the 27th minute. Alonzo Cotton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gregory Akins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tom Biggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Beardmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Vickers. Andy Sexton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ambroise Brunelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Sexton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ambroise Brunelle made a huge save. Newport Park's Jean Oleary got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Newport Park getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kurtis Adams hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ashley Ivey made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ashley Ivey notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Beardmore FC's Ambroise Brunelle. Ambroise Brunelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ambroise Brunelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Sexton, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gregory Akins kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ashley Ivey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambroise Brunelle was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Jean Oleary might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambroise Brunelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Oleary ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Newport Park's Jean Oleary sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambroise Brunelle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Buford Cliche hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Andy Sexton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambroise Brunelle having to interfere. Tom Biggs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregory Akins in the 88th minute. Ambroise Brunelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Oleary in the 94th minute of play. Ashley Ivey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Oleary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ambroise Brunelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Newport Park were the better team. Newport Park's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
