Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 10) Guoan's Gaétan Mathis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armand Barrow kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Beardmore FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herb Moreau in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Randell Kohler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rex Harden, 1-0. Gaétan Mathis scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambroise Brunelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Carroll Mooney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carroll Mooney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaétan Mathis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Guoan booed when Beardmore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grady Charrette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rex Harden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Vickers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Hobert Rector hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beardmore FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herb Moreau in the 33rd minute. The corner ended in Herb Moreau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guoan's Rex Harden did a great save. Ambroise Brunelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carroll Mooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carroll Mooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ambroise Brunelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Randell Kohler to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Beardmore FC's zone, Gaétan Mathis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambroise Brunelle came out of the goal and Gaétan Mathis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvin Clément kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guoan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Rex Harden had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Herb Moreau's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Guoan getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lazare Cervantes hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Gregory Akins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beardmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Akins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambroise Brunelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaétan Mathis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Randell Kohler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beardmore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rodolph Darling hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Glen Barbour took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ambroise Brunelle. Beardmore FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Carroll Mooney got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gaétan Mathis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambroise Brunelle having to interfere. Guoan may have spent more time on the ball, but Beardmore FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
