Asa Narcisse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Souplet in the 12th minute. If Kieth Oneill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jamestown AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Papillion Huntley hit a great ball. Alejandro Souplet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Seals charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Seals the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Seals kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, one of Burr FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Burr FC. The goalkeeper, Asa Narcisse, was totally fooled by Jamestown AFC's Patrick Davenport, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Burr FC's Asa Narcisse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Burr FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Alejandro Souplet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benton Brock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Alejandro Souplet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamestown AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Souplet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Jamestown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Robertson to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Dale to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kieth Oneill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iréné Déziel was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Lance Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burr FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Harman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asa Narcisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Dale in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Benton Brock got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alejandro Souplet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamestown AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
