Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5981, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ferdinand Boyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Garland was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Sylvester Brian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylvester Brian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Luigi Parra charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luigi Parra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Friction's Luigi Parra got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ferdinand Boyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hilton Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivory Posey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Boyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilton Grant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Boyle ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of The Friction booed when Champlain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Otero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Friction's Ivory Posey got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Boyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilton Grant having to interfere. Hilton Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Boyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilton Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivory Posey in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, The Friction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauren McFadden to maneuver through the defense. Champlain's Hilton Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Boyle in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ivory Posey managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Friction's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivory Posey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilton Grant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Boyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valère Bender fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Champlain's protests and gave Valère Bender a yellow card for diving instead. Valère Bender kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Boyle in the 49th minute of play forced Champlain's goalkeeper Hilton Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ivory Posey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hilton Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Ferdinand Boyle fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 61 minutes, Ivory Posey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Friction's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivory Posey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valère Bender hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Lionel Lereau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilton Grant skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute, Duncan Otero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilton Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Boyle in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Champlain getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Valère Bender hit a great ball. Ferdinand Boyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Friction's Luigi Parra got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Luigi Parra off the ground. In the 75th match minute, The Friction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luigi Parra to maneuver through the defense. Lauren McFadden kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Sylvester Brian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Sylvester Brian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champlain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lauren McFadden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivory Posey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilton Grant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Champlain getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tony Cody hit a great ball. Ivory Posey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hilton Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 97 in the game by Lauren McFadden from a close distance when the talented Hilton Grant managed to make a qualified save. Champlain's players were relieved. The Friction were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Champlain to leave the ground with a draw.
