Ferdinand Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes, Augustin Sansouci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tlell and the Jamestown AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augustin Sansouci kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alejandro Souplet struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Aron Springer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamestown AFC. After having played for 25 minutes, Ferdinand Dale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamestown AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Dale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ferdinand Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, one of Tlell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tlell. Alejandro Souplet's late challenge caught a Tlell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Souplet helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Jamestown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Souplet. In the 37th minute, Alejandro Souplet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tlell defense, Ferdinand Dale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Springer. The Tlell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Springer should have stopped the shot. Burt Herring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tlell's Dee Dickens got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Dale to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Jamestown AFC defense, Burt Herring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iréné Déziel. The Jamestown AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iréné Déziel should have stopped the shot. Aron Springer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hector Lovett. Iréné Déziel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jamestown AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
