Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5995, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stanley Lancaster kicked off to start the match. Tony Cody charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Cody the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Champlain got a freekick which was hit by Tony Cody. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sylvester Brian in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Cressac saved Gaskiers from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denver Le in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilton Grant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clinton Barnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Sylvester Brian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Cressac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Clinton Barnes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ferdinand Cressac was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferdinand Cressac was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clinton Barnes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Hilton Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Lancaster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denver Le fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilton Grant having to interfere. If Sylvester Brian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilton Grant came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaskiers's Denver Le. But to his dismay, Denver Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ferdinand Cressac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Brian in the 47th minute of play. Sylvester Brian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylvester Brian to make the kick off. Stanley Lancaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilton Grant having to interfere. When Sylvester Brian came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Champlain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvester Brian couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Clinton Barnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Cressac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaskiers's Ferdinand Cressac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clinton Barnes in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Lancaster in the 64th minute of play forced Champlain's goalkeeper Hilton Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaskiers's Ferdinand Cressac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clinton Barnes in the 68th minute of play. Ferdinand Cressac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Cody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Champlain getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Colombain Savoie hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Gaskiers got a freekick which was hit by Denver Le. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Denver Le managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaskiers's supporters rose to their feet, but Denver Le was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilton Grant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilton Grant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanley Lancaster's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. A collision led to Gaskiers getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Willy Cordova hit a great ball. In the 98th match minute, Gaskiers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Mazuret to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
