The Friction's Lauren McFadden got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, The Friction's Ferdinand Boyle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ambroise Brunelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ambroise Brunelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivory Posey in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Boyle in the 25th minute of play forced Beardmore FC's goalkeeper Ambroise Brunelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes Beardmore FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lionel Lereau who took care of the corner kick. Ferdinand Boyle in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a little luck, Beardmore FC's Ambroise Brunelle got control of the ball when Ivory Posey tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Friction played a much better game than Beardmore FC and deserved their victory. The Beardmore FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
