When Brice Mazuret fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaskiers's protests and gave Brice Mazuret a yellow card for diving instead. Brice Mazuret kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Michal Robertson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamestown AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaskiers the free kick. Gaskiers's supporters rose to their feet, but Denver Le was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iréné Déziel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iréné Déziel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Le in the 37th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Ferdinand Dale elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ferdinand Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Cressac having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gaskiers's zone, Alejandro Souplet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Cressac came out of the goal and Alejandro Souplet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Cressac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Dale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Jamestown AFC's Alejandro Souplet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Cressac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Denver Le got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iréné Déziel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Lancaster, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Iréné Déziel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denver Le in the 74th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Jamestown AFC's Ferdinand Dale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Souplet in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Cressac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Alejandro Souplet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamestown AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
