Spectators: 6334 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 1) Ferdinand Dale started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Glen Barbour charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glen Barbour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guoan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Glen Barbour hit a great ball. Gaétan Mathis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iréné Déziel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Carroll Mooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guoan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamestown AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guoan's Carroll Mooney got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Ferdinand Dale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Harden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazare Cervantes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaétan Mathis in the 18th minute of play forced Jamestown AFC's goalkeeper Iréné Déziel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jamestown AFC's goalkeeper Iréné Déziel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carroll Mooney. Rex Harden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Dale in the 21st minute of play. Iréné Déziel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaétan Mathis in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Gaétan Mathis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iréné Déziel, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th play minute Carroll Mooney came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iréné Déziel. 1-0. Alejandro Souplet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaétan Mathis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iréné Déziel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jamestown AFC's Alex Poirier got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rex Harden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Dale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carroll Mooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iréné Déziel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazare Cervantes in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jamestown AFC defense, Gaétan Mathis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iréné Déziel. The Jamestown AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iréné Déziel should have stopped the shot. Iréné Déziel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaétan Mathis in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Guoan's Rex Harden got control of the ball when Alejandro Souplet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 played minutes Guoan got a freekick which was hit by Théophile Gillis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Dale in the 81st minute of play forced Guoan's goalkeeper Rex Harden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaétan Mathis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carroll Mooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jamestown AFC's zone, Gaétan Mathis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iréné Déziel came out of the goal and Gaétan Mathis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
