Gaétan Richter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djazair Algeria Algérie. Edmond Sample kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Djazair Algeria Algérie getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dedé Lopes hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Yunus Karanalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, SC Dillon's Gaétan Richter got control of the ball when Yunus Karanalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yunus Karanalp got free with Gaétan Richter in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Djazair Algeria Algérie's zone, Humberto Faucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kris Cole came out of the goal and Humberto Faucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Carlos Fernando Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaétan Richter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yunus Karanalp in the 54th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Yunus Karanalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djazair Algeria Algérie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 70 minutes into the game, Kelvin Prince was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djazair Algeria Algérie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Dillon the free kick. Gaétan Richter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yunus Karanalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The SC Dillon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaétan Richter should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Yunus Karanalp made a precise shot to the right of Gaétan Richter. SC Dillon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 93 minutes into the game, one of SC Dillon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Djazair Algeria Algérie had won after a very even match.
