Happy FC's Angelo Nugent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Happy FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Géraud Ford in the 19th minute of play forced Happy FC's goalkeeper Angelo Nugent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Herbert Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Nugent. Herbert Rossi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Gaétan Abel fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Happy FC's protests and gave Gaétan Abel a yellow card for diving instead. Gaétan Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cruz Lockett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Tétrault in the 34th minute of the match. Happy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Creech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morrisburg Lions walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
