Graham Spangler came out of the goal and Gabriel Iancu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Plummer charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Plummer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MC Guard AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. David Plummer hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Boniface Doiron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. L.A. Galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MC Guard AFC the free kick. The supporters of MC Guard AFC booed when L.A. Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boniface Doiron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Gabriel Iancu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MC Guard AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. L.A. Galaxy's Graham Spangler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Desjardins in the 18th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Jonas Desjardins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Spangler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. L.A.
