Spectators: 8252 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Charlebois started the match with the kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Kelly Boggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Dillon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelly Boggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Charlebois in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Nugent, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zachary Gour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute of the match Pierre Chan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Nugent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. René Tétrault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Humberto Faucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allen Quinn charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allen Quinn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Allen Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaétan Richter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Tétrault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Holt's late challenge caught a SC Dillon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxime Holt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Dillon booed when Happy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Happy FC's Stefan Creech got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute René Tétrault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaétan Richter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Kelly Boggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Dillon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelly Boggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Happy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Faucher came free, but Angelo Nugent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kelly Boggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Happy FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Allen Quinn hit a great ball. Efren Chang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angelo Nugent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaétan Richter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Gour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Gaétan Richter, was totally fooled by Happy FC's Baudouin Larson, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zachary Gour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gaétan Richter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Kelly Boggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaétan Richter made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Tétrault in the 85th minute. Gaétan Richter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Gour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zachary Gour came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Happy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Gour couldn't finish the play. Eldridge Blank kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. SC Dillon's Leonardo Charlebois got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Nugent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Charlebois, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Happy FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over SC Dillon's much stronger midfield.
