In the 14th match minute, Dundee United FC SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibault Dumas to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Dundee United FC SC's goal looked a bit too open when René Tétrault came free, but Emerson Walter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Happy FC's Angelo Nugent got control of the ball when François Blackmon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thibault Dumas's late challenge caught a Happy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thibault Dumas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dundee United FC SC's Thibault Dumas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mack Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. François Blackmon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Nugent having to interfere. In the 29th minute Rayford Davenport shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Nugent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Dundee United FC SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Gour came free, but Emerson Walter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, François Blackmon notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Happy FC's Angelo Nugent. Angelo Nugent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Happy FC's Angelo Nugent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayford Davenport in the 40th minute of play. Robert Veronneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Gour in the 53rd minute of play forced Dundee United FC SC's goalkeeper Emerson Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Happy FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Holt. Angelo Nugent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Guy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Nugent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Blackmon in the 60th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Mack Guy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Happy FC's Angelo Nugent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. René Tétrault struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Emerson Walter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Happy FC. If Robert Veronneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Mack Guy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Happy FC's Angelo Nugent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. René Tétrault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emerson Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Happy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Quinn to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Dundee United FC SC's goal looked a bit too open when Eldridge Blank came free, but Emerson Walter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Happy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
