Spectators: 8440 (Terracing: 6331, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) Graham Spangler came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Resolution's Kirby Mathews. But to his dismay, Kirby Mathews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. François Spaulding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Spangler having to interfere. Marc Chalut charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Chalut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Resolution getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marc Chalut hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirby Mathews in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graham Spangler saved L.A. Galaxy from getting behind. Kirby Mathews took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Graham Spangler. Graham Spangler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kirby Mathews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Resolution's Florentino Wynn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graham Spangler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Omar Donnelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute François Spaulding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Spangler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Kirby Mathews sped through L.A. Galaxy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Graham Spangler. Kirby Mathews scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Graham Spangler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Resolution's Kirby Mathews got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirby Mathews in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graham Spangler saved L.A. Galaxy from getting behind.

Florentino Wynn struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Graham Spangler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resolution. Graham Spangler stood somewhat misplaced when Kirby Mathews came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 52 minute. When %teams%'s François Spaulding was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-7 just inside the left pole, 58 minutes into the game. Graham Spangler was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 63rd minute, Resolution's François Spaulding dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Graham Spangler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirby Mathews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Kirby Mathews kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Graham Spangler. That made the score 1-9 in the 75 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Resolution's Graham Spangler threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from François Spaulding, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Graham Spangler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Resolution's François Spaulding slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Graham Spangler. That made the score 1-12 after 90 minutes of play.
