Spectators: 8469 (Terracing: 6353, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucien Rivière got the match started through his kick off. Edmond Cleveland came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Granville's Emmitt Lebrun. But to his dismay, Emmitt Lebrun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A hard shot 7 in the game by Lucien Rivière from a close distance when the talented Cyril Champagne managed to make a qualified save. Granville's players were relieved. After 15 minutes, Shayne Whitten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granville and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucien Rivière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cyril Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Avery Knight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granville and the XENON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21stth minute of the game Bret Marrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granville's Cyril Champagne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Granville's Cyril Champagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bret Marrero in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Hobert Davidson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Lindsey Ring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Granville's goalkeeper Cyril Champagne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucien Rivière. In the 33rd minute Landon Story shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Cleveland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Cleveland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Landon Story, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granville's Théophile Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Landon Story fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granville's protests and gave Landon Story a yellow card for diving instead. Landon Story hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. XENON FC's Edmond Cleveland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmitt Lebrun in the 47th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Story in the 48th minute of play forced XENON FC's goalkeeper Edmond Cleveland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The XENON FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granville were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmitt Lebrun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lucien Rivière had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyril Champagne. Granville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucien Rivière was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cyril Champagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Marrero in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Bret Marrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyril Champagne. Granville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bret Marrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cyril Champagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucien Rivière, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cyril Champagne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bret Marrero in the 71st minute of the match. Landon Story hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmitt Lebrun got free with Edmond Cleveland in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the XENON FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
