Ceylon AFC's Nicodème Cortes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Rivière in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lucien Rivière sped through Ceylon AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicodème Cortes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucien Rivière in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodème Cortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Pasquale Ratliff notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ceylon AFC's Nicodème Cortes. Nicodème Cortes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien Rivière in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodème Cortes saved Ceylon AFC from getting behind. Nicodème Cortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasquale Ratliff in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Ceylon AFC's Dalton Reynolds made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Cleveland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicodème Cortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Rivière in the 33rd minute of the match. Nicodème Cortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Gibson in the 44th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalton Reynolds made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, XENON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalton Reynolds came free, but Edmond Cleveland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to XENON FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marco Plouffe hit a great ball. The long shot by Bret Marrero in the 59th minute really tested Nicodème Cortes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nicodème Cortes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucien Rivière in the 64th minute. Bret Marrero succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Hatch during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Claude Hatch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Bret Marrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodème Cortes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 77th minute, Ceylon AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thaddeus Tillman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nicodème Cortes made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Lucien Rivière sent off a good shot on target. Lucien Rivière succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 83rd playminute. Thaddeus Tillman hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, Ceylon AFC's Benedict Moses shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmond Cleveland came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ceylon AFC reached it. 89 minutes into the match, Ceylon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bret Marrero came free, but Nicodème Cortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Cleveland came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ceylon AFC's Bruno Epperson. But to his dismay, Bruno Epperson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. With a little luck, Ceylon AFC's Nicodème Cortes got control of the ball when Lucien Rivière tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded XENON FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ceylon AFC.
